Everything you need to know
Installation, compatibility, control and power—here are the answers to the questions drivers usually ask before choosing RideBright.
RideBright is designed for a straightforward DIY installation. Most installations take approximately 30–45 minutes, although the final time depends on your vehicle and chosen layout. A complete installation guide is included.
The flexible lighting strips can be positioned around different dashboard, console, door and footwell layouts. Check that your vehicle has suitable trim gaps and access to a compatible 12V power connection before installation.
Yes. The strips can be measured and trimmed to suit your chosen layout. Always disconnect the power before cutting and follow the cutting instructions supplied with the kit.
You can control the lighting using the smartphone app or the included remote. Adjust the colour, brightness and effects, or choose from music-responsive and customised scene modes.
RideBright gives you access to 16 million colour combinations. You can choose a subtle factory-style glow, match your vehicle’s interior or create a brighter custom look.
The cables are designed to be routed behind or alongside your vehicle’s interior trim. Careful placement creates a clean result with the wiring concealed as much as your vehicle layout allows.
The lighting system has a rated operating lifetime of 50,000 hours. Actual service life can vary depending on installation, operating conditions and how frequently the lights are used.
RideBright operates at 12V with a rated power draw of approximately 3–5W. Only connect the system to a compatible 12V vehicle power source and follow the supplied installation instructions.
Like any powered accessory, the system can continue drawing power if it is left operating while the vehicle is parked. Switch the lights off when they are not in use and follow the recommended power-connection method in the installation guide.

I took my time with the install and the result came out really clean. During the day you barely notice the strips, then at night the whole interior looks completely different.
The light is smooth all the way across with no obvious bright spots. I normally leave it on a dim blue setting and it gives the car a much more modern feel without being distracting.
One section of my trim was a little tight, so that part took some patience. Once I used the fitting tool and worked along it slowly, everything sat neatly and the finished result was worth it.
Connected it to my phone without any trouble. Changing the colour and brightness is straightforward, and the lower brightness levels are perfect when I just want a subtle glow.
I was mainly worried about seeing cables everywhere, but they tucked away behind the panels nicely. The controller is hidden and the cabin still looks clean when the lights are switched off.
I didn’t expect it to change the atmosphere as much as it did. Even on one solid colour the interior feels calmer and more finished. My passengers noticed it straight away.
There was enough strip to cover the areas I wanted without having to stretch the layout. I planned everything first, trimmed the lengths and had it all working the same evening.
The brightness range is better than I expected. It can light up the whole cabin for photos, but I can also turn it right down for normal driving so it doesn’t reflect in the windows.
